Is there a substitute dye that they could use that isn't bad for the environment? Any ideas? Maybe an algae or something? The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas dyes the water blue! Is this bad for the environment?
More than likely the fountain is in a closed loop system, so they only dye very little. But i would have to agree with you the dye used is something pretty nasty and or has no biodegradability.
Sure there are natural alternatives to chemical dyes, but I would bet a casino in Vegas isn't about to start paying for more socially responsible consumerism. The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas dyes the water blue! Is this bad for the environment?
WOW! you gotta be kiddin me! I cant believe that question! This is so ridiculous! Why dont you check out ';scientifically'; how much your saving the enviorment movements has effected our global warming..... I understand car exhaust, smoking and other air polution hazards but honestly why do you care about the dye in a fountain! This is one of those questions where you say ';oh its that kinda a person'; do you really wanna be in that catagory?
If it's Las Vegas, it has to be bad.
